En esta última semana de clases los alumnos de 6to grado estarán realizando actividades de repaso sobre:

- El ser humano prehistórico
- La prehistoria en América
- Las civilizaciones de Oriente
- El legado del mundo antiguo
- Mesoamérica y las civilizaciones andinas
- Culturas mesoamericanas
-Monday: Intro to New Technologies 2018-2019
-Tuesday: Research for Tech presentation
-Wednesday: Finish Tech Presentation
-Thursday: Presentations and Notes for Notebook Check
-Friday: In Class Notebook Check
: During this week, the students will work on developing the following fundamental skills of SOCCER : dribbling, passing , shooting and goalkeeping . Students will put this knowledge to test in games. During the week, the students will also have a circuit fitness test.
Required Materials for Class:
Tennis shoes, water bottle and appropriate clothing.
Optional Materials for Class:
Bug spray, hat and sunscreen.
|PLEASE TAKE NOTE: To participate in class activities and receive full credit for the class, students need to wear appropriate clothing for P.E. class.

|REMINDER: I would like to remind you that all students need to be dressed appropriately for the days that they have P.E. class. Students should refrain from using the following:- Dresses for the girls- Jeans (shorts or pants)- Crocks- Sandals- Boots

Finish non-linear perspective project and evaluation. Students who finish non-linear perspective project can begin working on their aboriginal masks. The medium they will be using is tempera paint.
Traditional aboriginal dot paintings represent a story, generally regarding hunting or food gathering and usually have traditional aboriginal symbols embedded throughout the painting. These symbols, when explained, give a completely whole new meaning to the painting.

Unit : Survival, Essential Question: What Does It Take to Survive?
- Regular activities: Sustained Silent Reading, Interactive Notebooks, Quick Writes, Classwork Questions, Reading Logs and Vocabulary
- We will be reading the novel, Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. We will study vocabulary and have discussion based on this text. We will also apply literary terms to the text.
- Students will have a literary terms quiz on Thursday, May 23, 2019.
