Language Arts October 5-6

CAM015786th Graders will resume reading the Loser and hopefully we will finish the book.  There are still 4 more questions to answer from the reading and a small essay that each was suppose to turn in last Friday.  In this essay, students are to put themselves in the shoes of the Zinkoff, remember a previous incident in which someone called them a name they didn’t like and how did the student respond to this name-calling. Monday and Tuesday, we’ll go over the essay to build up confidence in writing essays.  Also, I will spend 20min talking to each class about the issue of bullying in an advisory style. 6A will have the advisory lesson on Monday and 6B will have theirs on Tuesday.  There will be no test this week.
